A Day in the Life of a Medium

-English Below-

A Day in the Life of a Psychic. Have you always wanted to know how it works?

I’m answering the question that’s on everyone’s mind when they meet me!

Today, I’ll take you along on my journey and share what I’m increasingly seeing, discovering, and experiencing.

As you may have read in my previous blog posts about mediumship, I’ve had many spiritual experiences since I was young. It started with déjà vu dreams and seeing people who had passed away, and for some time now, there’s been much more to it than that.

The more I focus on this and say I’m open to information, the more it trickles in.

I (usually) start the day with a brief moment of connecting with my higher self, and then I declare my intention to live that day entirely from my higher self. And throughout the day, I often return to this intention and repeat: Today, I am living entirely from my higher self.

I also say that I’m open to information, that I want to know more, and that’s what happens. For example, I recently found out that an acquaintance of mine has lung cancer and has a year left to live. A few minutes later, that person confirmed the lung cancer. As for the year—I haven’t heard anything about that yet. I’m keeping that to myself.

That doesn’t mean I’m constantly receiving information or that I’m consciously focusing on it, but sometimes it comes to me very clearly. At first, I sometimes had my doubts, but that’s happening less and less.

And so the moment came when I started to have doubts again. No matter how much experience I have, no matter how many readings I’ve done, the energy doesn’t always flow for me either. And unfortunately, it happens at the very moments when I least expect it.

It was a day that didn’t go the way I had visualized. Yes, unfortunately, that happens to me sometimes, too. But I continue to have faith in the law of attraction, the power of visualization, and the Universe. I had planned to work for an hour at our clinic that day, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. I ran into an IT glitch that led to a cascade of errors and problems, which ended up taking me 6 hours to resolve. After that, I still had to do some work for another client, and in the evening I had a reading. I didn’t get a chance to work out, and fifteen minutes before I had to leave, I took a moment to relax. Doing breathing exercises helped, but not enough. I was too caught up in stress and performance mode. Although I had strong feelings about the consultation on the day of the request—and even while driving there—the session itself yielded very little. Information came in bits and pieces, but in my opinion, it wasn’t enough. Of course, there’s something to be said about that as well:
— Was the recipient really ready for it?
— Was the information that came through sufficient for now, or sufficient at all?

Anyway, my day didn’t go the way I would have liked, and what did I learn from that? To take it easy, aim for less perfection, and not try to do so much just to get things done—and definitely not before I have a consultation!

Even then, doubt strikes again. Should I still focus on mediumship, even though animal communication comes much more easily to me? But I did spend two years training for it! Anyway, I’ll just let the Universe and Spirit tell me whether I should continue—and with which aspect, exactly.

In general, I receive a lot of information, and I’m getting better and better at listening to my intuition and to the information that comes to me. But now for the question everyone is thinking—and sometimes even asks: What do you feel/see/hear about me right now?

It makes people feel uneasy when I tell them what I do. You can see them thinking, getting anxious, or, on the contrary, becoming very happy and curious. Not everyone says what they’re thinking, but it’s still on their minds. It’s as if I’m looking inside their bodies with X-ray vision, sitting inside their heads and knowing all their secrets.

My answer to that is: thankfully, no!
I’d go crazy if I knew and saw everything about everyone I meet. However, I do find myself on the same wavelength with people more and more often, and we think alike. Or they’ll say, “Well, I was just thinking about that.”

Each person’s soul decides what to share and what not to share—you can count on that. And I have to tune in first; that kind of connection doesn’t just happen out of the blue. And yes, very recently, I’ve been receiving very important messages—like the one about lung cancer—on a very sporadic basis.

That person is too far away for me to tell them this, but would I share this if I actually knew them?
I don’t know.
As soon as you receive confirmation from someone—a doctor or me, for example—you might start living your life based on that and end up letting your fate be determined by it. Yet I strongly believe in the power of our own thoughts—in the healing power and restorative capacity of our own bodies.

A Day in the Life of a Medium. Have you always wanted to know how it works?

I answer the question that everyone wonders about when they meet me!

Today, I’ll take you along on my journey and share what I’m increasingly seeing, developing, and experiencing.

As you may have read in my previous blog posts about mediumship, I have had many experiences in the spiritual realm since childhood. It started with déjà vu dreams and seeing people who had passed away, and over time, many more experiences have come into play.

The more I engage with this and express my openness to receiving information, the more it gradually flows in.

I usually start my day with a brief moment to connect with my higher self and set the intention to live that day fully from my higher self. Throughout the day, I often return to this and repeat: “Today, I live fully from my higher self.”

I also express my openness to receiving information—that I want to know more—and it happens. Recently, I received insight that an acquaintance of mine has lung cancer and has about a year to live. A few minutes later, that person confirmed the lung cancer. As for the time frame—I haven’t heard confirmation of that, and I’m keeping it to myself.

This doesn’t mean I constantly receive information or that I’m always consciously engaged with it, but sometimes things come to me very clearly. In the beginning, I doubted myself at times, but that happens less and less.

And then, there are still moments of doubt. No matter how much experience I have, no matter how many readings I’ve done, I don’t always get into the flow. And unfortunately, it happens at times when I least expect it.

That day didn’t go the way I had visualized. Yes, unfortunately, that happens to me too. But I continue to trust in the law of attraction, the power of visualization, and the Universe. I had planned to spend just an hour working for our clinic that day, but things didn’t go as planned. I ran into an IT error, which led to a cascade of problems, turning my one-hour task into a six-hour ordeal. After that, I had more work for another client, and in the evening, I had a reading. I skipped my workout, and fifteen minutes before I had to leave, I took a moment to calm myself down. Breathing exercises helped, but not enough. I was too stressed, too focused on performance.

Even though I had been feeling quite a lot about the consultation on the day of the request and again in the car on the way there, very little came through during the session. Bits of information trickled in, but in my opinion, not enough. Of course, there are factors to consider:

  • Was the recipient ready for it?

  • Was the information that came through sufficient for now, or even sufficient at all?

Anyway, my day didn’t go as I’d hoped. And what did I learn from it? To strive less for performance, to aim less for perfection, and to do less just to get things done—especially not right before a consultation!

And then, doubt creeps back in. Should I still focus on mediumship when animal communication comes much more naturally to me? But I spent two years training for this! Anyway, I’ll let the Universe and Spirit guide me on whether I should continue and which path to take.

In general, I receive a lot of information, and I’m getting better at listening to my intuition and the insights that come to me. But now, the question that everyone thinks but sometimes hesitates to ask: What do you feel/see/hear about me?

People often feel uneasy when I tell them what I do. You can see their minds racing—some become anxious, while others light up with curiosity. Not everyone voices their thoughts, but they wonder. As if I have X-ray vision into their bodies, as if I can read their minds and know all their secrets.

My answer to that: Fortunately, I don’t!
I’d go crazy if I knew and saw everything about every person I meet. However, I do find myself on the same wavelength with people more often, thinking the same thoughts at the same time. Sometimes, they even say, “Wow, I was just thinking that!

Each soul decides what it does and doesn’t share—you can trust that. I also have to tune in first; a connection doesn’t just happen automatically. And yes, it has happened sporadically recently that I’ve received very important insights, like the lung cancer case.

The person was too distant for me to share this information with them, but if I had known them better—would I have told them?
I don’t know.

Once you receive confirmation—whether from a doctor or even from me—you might start living according to it, letting fate take its course. Whereas I strongly believe in the power of our own thoughts, in the healing power and self-healing ability of our bodies.

Priscilla
