Tuning into the Picasso energy<\/h2>
I’m in Barcelona for work, and on my day off, I decide to head into downtown Barcelona. But the city is huge! <\/span><\/p>
I decide to narrow down my options a bit by looking up what I want to do in Barcelona. I decide to go to the Picasso Museum. Not that I\u2019m a huge fan of museums\u2014I usually just rush through them\u2014but something tells me I want to go there. I decide to follow my instincts, put on my sneakers, and get ready for a long walk today.   <\/p>
I take the bus to the part of town closest to the Picasso Museum, and when I get off there, I find myself in a really nice part of Barcelona. I’m surprised, because the part of town I was in earlier was very businesslike, sprawling, and not very pleasant. <\/p>
But this is really cute\u2014narrow streets, the old part of town, a great atmosphere, crowded but pleasant. Little shops, tasty eateries, and my search for the museum begins. <\/p>
When I arrived at the museum, I was right on time, because I had a timed ticket. The museum showcases Picasso\u2019s various styles, and I find myself inspired. I see and read about his life and how he used to frequent a certain caf\u00e9. And once again, I feel that I should trust my intuition. It tells me that when I\u2019m done here, I should go to that caf\u00e9.    <\/p>
I pull out the map and walk toward the caf\u00e9. Left, right, shops\u2014it takes a bit of searching, but then, in that little alley, there it is. And it really is a caf\u00e9 where quite a few tourists go. Tourist prices, tourist food\u2014everything shows off all the celebrities who\u2019ve been there\u2014and I decide to just take it all in once I\u2019m inside.   <\/p>
I don\u2019t know exactly where he always sat, or if he had a regular spot in the caf\u00e9, but honestly, it doesn\u2019t really matter. And I decide to close my eyes, take a moment to breathe calmly, and then connect with my higher self and, after that, with Picasso\u2019s higher self.
The energy shifts; I feel different, and I know I\u2019m connected. <\/p>
I feel like my head is getting really big, really wide, and I’m starting to see things in a very creative way. As if everything just is. A kind of LCD trip? Not that I’ve ever used that stuff, but you know how they describe it in movies.   <\/p>
This is the first time I\u2019ve done this very consciously, with someone I have no connection to. No connection in the sense that I\u2019m trying to help someone\u2014a recipient\u2014make contact with their deceased loved one. I don\u2019t know anyone who knew Picasso, so if he has a message, I can\u2019t pass it on. But I feel that\u2019s not the point anyway.   <\/p>
I feel that I\u2019m allowed to tap into his energy out of love. Without judgment, without expecting anything in return, without wanting anything from it. I just want to experience it, and who knows\u2014maybe it will bring me some inspiration. Now or later.   <\/p>
After a while, I leave the caf\u00e9 again, and as I walk away\u2014moving further away from the caf\u00e9\u2014I slowly let the energy fade away.<\/p>
That was so cool, and even though I didn’t get any creative inspiration, I did get the inspiration to tap into that energy more often when I feel the need.<\/p>

I take the bus to the area closest to the Picasso Museum, and when I get off, I find myself in a really charming part of Barcelona. I\u2019m surprised, because the area I was in before felt very corporate, grand, and not pleasant at all. <\/p>
But this area is adorable\u2014narrow streets, the old part of the city, full of character. Busy, but in a good way. Little shops, great places to eat, and so my search for the museum begins.  <\/p>
Once I arrive at the museum, I\u2019m right on time\u2014I have a ticket with a time slot. The museum showcases Picasso\u2019s different styles, and I feel inspired. I see and read about his life and how he used to spend a lot of time at a certain caf\u00e9. Once again, I feel like I need to trust my intuition. It tells me: when you\u2019re done here, go to that caf\u00e9.    <\/p>
I pull out my map and walk toward the caf\u00e9. Left, right, shops\u2014I have to look around a bit, but then, in this little alley, there it is. And yes, it\u2019s clearly a tourist spot. Tourist prices, tourist food, all kinds of pictures of celebrities who\u2019ve visited. I decide to just sit down and take it all in.    <\/p>
I don\u2019t know exactly where he used to sit, or if he had a favorite spot in the caf\u00e9, but honestly, that doesn\u2019t matter. I decide to close my eyes, take a deep breath, and connect with my higher self\u2014and then with Picasso\u2019s higher self. <\/p>
The energy shifts, I feel different, and I know I’m connected.<\/p>
I get the feeling that my head gets really big, really wide, and I start to see things in a very creative way. As if everything is<\/em>. Kind of like an LSD trip? Not that I\u2019ve ever tried it, but you know how movies describe it.   <\/p>
This is the first time I\u2019ve done something like this so consciously, with someone I have no personal connection to. No connection in the sense of trying to reach someone\u2019s deceased loved one on behalf of someone else. I don\u2019t know anyone who knew Picasso, so if he did<\/em> have a message, I couldn\u2019t pass it on. But I also feel that\u2019s not the point.   <\/p>
I feel like I\u2019m allowed to tap into his energy out of love. No judgment, no expectations, nothing in return, and without wanting anything from it. I just want to experience it\u2014and who knows, maybe it will bring inspiration. Now or later.  <\/p>
After a while, I leave the caf\u00e9 again, and as I walk away, farther and farther from the caf\u00e9, I slowly let the energy go.<\/p>
What an amazing experience. And even though I didn\u2019t receive any direct creative inspiration, I was<\/em> inspired to tap into that energy more often\u2014whenever I feel the call. <\/p>
