A Message from a Chicken<\/h2>\n

Yes, you heard right: a chicken! How amazing! I\u2019d been given an assignment to do readings for 5 animals! 3 chickens, a cat, and a deceased chicken. The deceased chicken will have to wait a bit, because I always wait at least 6 months after a pet\u2019s passing before making contact with it. I\u2019d done readings for all the animals except one (is that how you say it? I have no idea!), and the last one was a chicken. I\u2019d started this session a little later than planned because of the flu, and the chicken jumped right in! Normally, I always introduce myself to the animal first and explain who I\u2019m representing, but she had something to say right away, and I\u2019d love to share with you the beautiful message she has for all of us! <\/p>\n

The Conversation<\/h6>\n

Kip:<\/strong> You were out of commission for a bit, weren’t you?! I know, I was waiting for you, but you needed some self-care. And you know, you humans get “bothered” by things so much more quickly. You need it sometimes, too. That’s funny. We animals don’t have that. We\u2019re also much better at taking care of ourselves\u2014managing our energy\u2014we\u2019re good at that. And if you guys start working on this a bit more yourselves, you\u2019ll be \u201cbothered\u201d by so many things much less often.

Priscilla:<\/strong> Could you explain that a little more?

Kip:<\/strong> It all starts with energy. What belongs to you, what belongs to someone else. What you should take in, what you shouldn\u2019t. Energy is always flowing, but with people, sometimes too much flows out of you, and sometimes you let in too much. If your energy balance isn\u2019t right, you get sick.

Priscilla:<\/strong> What’s the best thing for us to do?

Kip:<\/strong> Make sure you don’t let in too much of other people’s energy and keep your own energy with you. Grounding, meditation, creating a protective field around yourself\u2014but with people, focus especially on their thoughts. Because that\u2019s your biggest energy drain. You think too much\u2014worrying about others, dwelling on the past and the future. Regret, fear, anger, worry, sadness. It\u2019s a wonder you don\u2019t collapse! <\/p>\n

Priscilla:<\/strong> What wise lessons!<\/p>\n

Kip:<\/strong> Yes, and this is for everyone.<\/p>\n

After that, we talked about some personal matters for a bit, and then she started sharing her words of wisdom again.<\/p>\n

Kip:<\/strong> Speaking of ages, do you guys ever really look at a child? How they think, play, go through life? Just like animals, really\u2014living in the moment, not dwelling too long on something that\u2019s already happened. Just think about it for a moment, let it go, and move on. That\u2019s my message: take a closer look at a child more often and try to reconnect with that child inside yourself. Think that way again, have fun, and live life to the fullest! Approach life like a child. That makes everything so much more fun for everyone! <\/p>\n

Message from a Chicken<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yes, you heard that right: a chicken! How fantastic! I had been assigned to read about five animals: three chickens, a cat, and a deceased chicken. The deceased chicken will have to wait a little longer, because I always prefer to make contact with an animal only after six months have passed since its death. Except for one animal, I had already read them all (is that how you say it? No idea!), and the last one was a chicken. Since I\u2019d been sick with the flu, I started this session a bit later than planned, and the chicken jumped right in! If you humans would work on that a bit more, you\u2019d have far less \u2018trouble\u2019 with so many things.\u201d<\/p>\n
