Instinct<\/h2>\n
Do you still trust your instincts? Do you still dare to trust your feelings, your heart, your gut? <\/p>\n
I was on Texel to unwind; maybe you\u2019ve read my previous post<\/a> (if not, be sure to check it out right away for some great tips on Texel!). I noticed that I found it hard to connect with \u201cwild animals\u201d\u2014whether it was just a pigeon on my balcony or some other animal. Something inside me was holding me back. Was it stress? Was it because I couldn\u2019t check with the owner? Anyway, I wanted to unwind, so I chose nature and the lovely island of Texel to spend as much time as possible without my cell phone or laptop. Reading, journaling, and going through my readings. Purely for myself. And guess what\u2026 I did connect with a wild animal!         <\/p>\n
On my last day, I was walking along the beach near the lighthouse when I saw a rabbit there. It didn\u2019t really look like a wild rabbit to me. I thought it had been released there. So I made contact. I said, \u201cIf I can help you\u2014if you\u2019re looking for a home\u2014come to me.\u201d She stayed put.     <\/p>\n
Then I continued: You don’t seem like a wild rabbit to me, but one that used to have a little house. Can you really survive without a human to help you? <\/p>\n
“Yes, I can,” said the rabbit. On instinct! You should try that sometime, too.<\/p>\n
BAM! That really hit home!<\/p>\n
And that was the end of our contact. That was all there was to it, except for this beautiful moment, which gave my self-confidence another boost and got me thinking. Now, more than a month later, it’s still going on! I often go through life on autopilot, and I need to trust my instincts more, live from a place of trust and inner knowing. Now it’s your turn!<\/p>\n
